1. Winter

The winter

knocked my door,
I opened and froze.

2. Spring

And then

the spring arrived,
and the fireball in the sky

melted me away.

3. Summer

A hot summer day
the sun outraged

I was left in ashes.

4. Rain

But,

then fell the rain,

And my dust was washed away.

5. Fall

Suddenly hit autumn,

And I became

the brown leaf man.

6. Winter Again

And again knocked winter,

But I was wiser and locked up my home

But he knocked again and again

and once again

I sought revenge and yanked open the door

He was right there

I thrashed him white

and what's more

My hand caught frostbite.

7. Long, Long Ago

Long, long ago

when the nights were cold

the sky was clear

the moon wasn’t there

And the stars looked bold

you couldn’t see the air

When you looked high above,

it was a sight to behold.

When the cold wind blew

with the cold cold air

When the earth stood still

at peace in its lair

And the universe awaited for

its story to be told

Long, long ago

when the nights were cold.
